Complete plant logistics from Germany to TOYOTA TÜRKİYE: 16 truckloads, including four low-loaders carrying individual components weighing up to 55 tonnes.
For the expansion of production capacity at TOYOTA TÜRKİYE, ACL managed the complete transport of a large injection-moulding system, including a linear robot and integrated automation and conveyor equipment.
The complete system had a gross weight of approximately 213 tonnes and was divided across 16 truckloads. The project required precise coordination of four special transports and 12 standard curtain-side trailers.
Logistics breakdown and components
The main machine components formed the core of the project. The four special transports included the 55.5-tonne moving platen, the 41-tonne fixed platen, the 26-tonne clamping frame and the 21-tonne injection-unit frame.
Additional trucks carried components including tie-bar supports, injection units, control cabinets, cable-routing stands, platforms and accessories.
The associated linear robot was also transported safely. Its dismantled components included the X-axis, portal supports and robot control cabinet, with a total weight of approximately 10 tonnes. A further truck carried the automation and conveyor equipment, including a turning station, conveyor belts and safety-guard components.
Coordinated route planning, management of all customs and permit requirements, and precise scheduling of deliveries enabled the entire system to be handed over to the client on time.
