From a 20 m² Office to Our Own Headquarters: The ACL Story

Our story shows what can be achieved with passion, hard work and the right partners.

Continuous development and clear goals have shaped ACL's journey since the company was founded. A scalable business model and strong partnerships within the European transport network allowed us to establish ourselves quickly in the market.

A major milestone was the construction of our own headquarters in St. Florian. The modern 400 m² facility has space for up to 40 workstations and provides ideal conditions for transport coordination and client service. Our team also continues to grow: today, 20 employees form the heart of ACL, including four apprentices whose training represents an active investment in the logistics experts of tomorrow.

A look at the milestones in our development from the early days to the present:

• August 2016: Ayhan Payzin founds ACL as a sole proprietorship.
• 2016–2019: Our Managing Director successfully runs the business alone from a 20 m² office.
• Early 2020: The team begins to grow. Talha Engin joins as the first employee in January, followed by Achy Hakan.
• August 2020: Exactly four years after the launch, the business changes legal form. ACL Schwerlast & Sondertransport GmbH is officially established and moves into a larger office.
• End of 2020: With Gökhan Elgit joining, the team grows to four employees by the end of the year.
• 2021: Growing client confidence enables the team to expand to seven employees.
• 2022: The team reaches ten people and moves to a larger office once again.
• 2023: Fourteen team members are now helping shape ACL's future.
• 2024: Construction begins on our own approximately 400 m² office building in St. Florian.
• April 2025: We move into our purpose-built headquarters in St. Florian. Alongside the move, we refresh our logo and give the brand a modern new look.
• 2026: Today the ACL family consists of 20 employees, including four apprentices who are training with us and actively helping to shape the company's future.
